What Is A Center?
Feb 27, 2024This is a position on the offensive line. This player has extra responsibility. In addition to blocking, the center is also responsible for snapping the ball that starts the play.
Unlike the other offensive line positions, there is only one center. That means that in total there are five positions that develop the offensive line (Two Tackles, Two Guards, and One Center).
